Working Families Party

John,

As we enter the final sprint to Election Day, the pace of events is fast and furious. It’s easy to get swept up in the chaos, but now more than ever, we need to ground ourselves in our work and our movement’s vision for the future.

We’re inviting you to a Mass Call to reflect, process, and learn together. This call will give us the space to step back, understand the bigger picture, and remember why we do this work. We’ll examine current events, not through the lens of punditry, but by placing this election in the context of our long-term goals for structural change.

Will you join us on Wednesday, September 18 to hear from frontline leaders about how you can support them in battleground states and districts?

This is more than just the road to November — it’s the long march for freedom.

On this call, we’ll hear from activists on the frontlines like artist and WFP member Patrisse Cullors; Vice President of the Chicago Teachers Union Jackson Potter; co-founder of We Are Revolutionary Luckee Forbes; and our very own WFP Philadelphia City Councilmember Kendra Brooks.

They will share the critical work they are doing in this election — and what YOU can do to play your part. Together, we’ll reflect on the actions we’re taking now, not just for this election, but to build a movement and a working class voting electorate capable of real change.

On September 18, we’ll be drawing our eyes toward concrete actions we can take to block the right and build our movements, unions, party, and power.

In solidarity,

Team WFP
