September 17th is Constitution Day
THIS DAY IN HISTORY
Signing the United States Constitution

On September 17th we celebrate Constitution Day! Thirty-nine<[link removed]> of the Founding Fathers signed <[link removed]>the US Constitution on that day in 1787.
Significantly, many of the delegates<[link removed]> directly involved in writing the Constitution acknowledged the hand of Divine Providence for this work. For example, Alexander Hamilton said<[link removed]>:

For my own part, I sincerely esteem it a system which without the finger of God could never have been suggested and agreed upon by such a diversity of interests.
Today, we celebrate the United States Constitution and acknowledge God for His goodness in sustaining America as the longest on-going constitutional republic in the world. We encourage you to take time to: 1) read <[link removed]>the Constitution, and 2) learn more<[link removed]> about this document and the people involved in its creation.
Another way to remember the US Constitution and the Founding Fathers is to come see the newest exhibit at the WallBuilders’ Museum<[link removed]> which includes original documents from all 39 signers of the US Constitution!
A helpful resource to understand the Constitution better, is our book Catechism on the Constitution<[link removed]>.
