   John,
After Missouri’s primary election last month, something started to shift
in the U.S. Senate race between Josh Hawley and Marine veteran Lucas
   Kunce.
Hawley suddenly started attacking Lucas by name with a rant of lies — in
his stump speech, on Twitter, on Fox News — anywhere he could. And then,
less than 48 hours after Lucas officially won the nomination, Hawley’s
campaign started spending millions of dollars to air false attacks about
Lucas in their very first TV ads.

You and me of course always knew Lucas, his message, and our
people-powered coalition were a threat to Hawley. But this just isn’t how
an incumbent — let alone an incumbent in a “red” state — usually handles a
   challenger.
But it seems that like us, Hawley and his allies have tuned out the
pundits and recognized reality: That they should be afraid of Lucas and
   his movement.
So in the last month, Hawley spent nearly THREE MILLION DOLLARS on FOUR
FALSE ATTACK ADS. Meanwhile, our ads have been focused on Lucas, his
record of service, and his commitment to restoring our freedoms and
   investing in Missouri.
And now just a month after both sides started TV ads, this poll shows our
race has gone from double-digits to only a four-point gap.
In campaigns, that’s what we call “movement”. It’s what happens when
millions of voters start seeing TV ads and learn about the candidates and
their messages. And despite Hawley’s lies, it’s clear our message is
breaking through and setting us on a path to win this race.
But Hawley’s campaign must have seen the same thing in their own
numbers…because now out of nowhere, a billionaire-backed Super PAC has
just placed ONE MILLION DOLLARS in ads against Lucas to start THIS
   WEEKEND.
So we’re asking: [ [link removed] ]Will you rush a donation of $10,
$25, or just whatever you can today so we’ll have the
resources to continue getting Lucas and his message in front of Missouri
voters? Lucas doesn’t take a cent from corporate PACs, so your donation —
no matter the amount — will seriously have a big impact on our grassroots
   campaign.
