Biosimilars and Their Impacts on Costs and Market Choices

WHEN: Wednesday, September 25, 3 pm - 4 pm ET

This event is for Health Affairs Insiders only.

In the September issue of Health Affairs, Molly Beinfeld and colleagues explored how the introduction of biosimilars affected originator-biosimilar markets during the period 2017–22.

Join Health Affairs Deputy Editor Jessica Bylander with author Molly Beinfeld during a virtual Journal Club event to discuss the paper and its implications.

The authors concluded there’s evidence of a functioning competitive market, citing biosimilar market shares exceeding those of originators and declining originator-biosimilar market average sales price.
