Liberty is fighting to protect everyone’s rights and freedoms during the pandemic, but we need your help – and our reduced membership rate of £1 per month is now available to everyone.

At what’s already a worrying time, it’s vital we all know what our rights are and can defend them, for ourselves and for our communities. So this month we launched Liberty’s coronavirus advice and information hub to help you navigate this crisis.

We’re providing simple, accurate explainers covering:

the new rules
when we can leave home
what the police can do
what you can do if you’re stopped by the police
what you can do if you’re unhappy with the way the police have treated you.

It also provides guidance on how to make a complaint and find a lawyer if you need one.

The advice and information hub is regularly updated to keep up with changing laws, regulations and guidance, so do check back regularly.
