So many kind supporters have been reaching out to let me know they are ready and willing to take part in next week’s GIVING TUESDAY NOW — a global day of giving.
It’s heartening to see such compassion and generosity during these challenging times.
In case you didn’t see my note earlier in the week: Due to the unprecedented need caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, this Tuesday, May 5 is a special, global day of unity and giving. And we’re hoping you’ll also want to take part in our life-saving advocacy.
As part of this special day, we must raise $250,000 to support our efforts advocating for the health and safety of asylum-seekers and refugees who are struggling through this crisis in cramped, crowded conditions with little access to medical care and inadequate basic hygiene.
