Let me introduce myself: I'm Jessica Post, and I'm the Executive Director of the Democratic Legislative Campaign Committee.

I'm sending you this message because on the heels of our 2018 Blue Wave, we’re facing new challenges, and Democrats have A LOT of work to do if we’re going to continue our momentum and elect state legislators who will stand up for our values.

We're already off to a strong start. Since Trump was inaugurated, Democrats have won eight new Democratic state legislative chambers, flipped more than 400 districts blue, and welcomed a new, diverse class of representatives across the country – including in dark-red districts that favored Trump by as much as 20 or 30 points in 2016.

Now it's time to dig in, ramp up, and deliver the historic Democratic wave America needs right now – before the damage Republicans are inflicting on our nation becomes permanent.

That's what the DLCC is all about, and it's why I hope you'll support our mission.

All across the country, the DLCC is training and deploying hundreds of grassroots organizers to help thousands of first-time Democratic candidates build the people-powered campaigns that are flipping seats in the Trump era.

We're sending much-needed financial support to targeted races where Democrats will soon face a withering barrage of attack ads funded by the far-right.

And we're doing the costly but necessary work of building grassroots networks where we need them the most: In communities at the local level.
