During these trying times, we’re seeing exactly how much is at stake. The COVID-19 crisis has proven that our healthcare system is broken, where folks across the country aren’t able to get the care they desperately need. In 1986, I passed the first Family Medical Leave Act in the nation right here in Maine because I wanted to provide fair leave policies for all Mainers. I want to continue that fight in Washington and pass Medicare for All and Paid Sick Leave.

But what is Susan Collins doing to help Mainers who are struggling during this crisis? She’s continuing to fight for Trump and his agenda over our needs. She “co-authors” legislation that bails out rich corporations but runs out of money for Maine small business owners. She also continues to oppose healthcare for everyone. Enough is enough.
