I'm saluting in front of the graves of our fallen servicemembers. President Trump is by my side. As a Navy CAPT, this moment is emotional.

My name is CAPT Hung Cao. I have been face-to-face with our enemies, I have defused bombs, I have saved lives, and I am proud to have served this country.

But I should NOT be standing in front of our servicemembers graves who were killed in the aftermath of Kabul right now at the National Cemetery. I hesitated to send this, but this is the cost of weak, failed leadership.

I’m running for US Senate as a Trump-endorsed candidate because we deserve battle-tested patriots leading our country. Are you with me?

I’m a refugee to the United States. At four years old, I fled Vietnam after my father was added to a kill list. The United States of America gave my family a second chance at life.

I paid that back in full by serving in the U.S. Navy Special Operations for 25 years all over the world. If we fail, the world has nowhere else to turn.

Today is extremely emotional for me, but I am thankful to have President Trump by my side.
