John, August is historically the slowest month for fundraising.

People are traveling and spending time outside in the sun, but just because we’re enjoying the summer doesn’t mean we can afford to fall behind during such an important time in this election.

My end-of-month deadline is coming up, and we can’t risk being outraised by our opponent again.

I’m not going to sugarcoat it, if we’re going to hold onto this seat, we can’t afford to miss this one, folks.

With my opponent raising MILLIONS, we have to at least meet our campaign deadlines to keep up.
