John xxxxxx - we’re about to ask you to take action. But first, here’s a little bit of context, so please, hear us out.

There are two things that you need to know:

The first is that we’ll be fighting 21 county council elections and six unitary authority elections in just eight months time. Right now, Labour doesn’t control a single one of them. We will also be working hard to deliver Labour victories in four mayoral elections for combined authorities.

Winning these contests is critical in ensuring that we have Labour representatives working together at all levels of government to deliver change.

The second is that winning campaigns are well funded. Our general election campaign was a success in no small part thanks to people chipping in where they were able.

Now is where we ask you to take action - we need to build our campaign reserves back up, so that when the country heads to the polls in next year's local elections, we’re fighting fit and ready to win.

Introducing the Labour Lottery. For just £2 per week, you’ll be in with the chance of winning cash prizes of up to £1,000 per week and could even win £10,000 in our Annual Superdraw.

Open to everybody 18 and over based in Great Britain, you can start playing today to help keep Labour fighting fit - lottery proceeds go straight into our campaign fund:
