I am a proud alumni of Emerge New Mexico, an organization that recruits and trains Democratic women and non-binary leaders from diverse backgrounds to run for public office.
Their work is critical to building a more representative government and protecting our freedoms, and I wouldn’t be in Congress today without their support early on in my career.
Over one hundred Emerge NM alums are currently serving in public office, and as we head towards critical elections in a few months it’s never been more important to support their work.
