After listening to incredible speeches all week -- from Biden to the
Obamas to Raphael Warnock and more -- we're fired up to get Kamala Harris
elected in November. But as we wait for Harris to close out the convention
tonight, we want to pull a quote from AOC's speech in particular:
"We cannot send Kamala and Tim to the White House alone. Together we must
also elect strong Democratic majorities in the House and in the Senate so
that we can deliver an ambitious agenda for the people."
AOC is right. It's not enough that we defeat Trump. We have to defeat MAGA
up and down the ballot to build a true Democratic trifecta and ensure
Harris has the votes she needs to codify reproductive rights, pass
democracy reform, and enact her ambitious economic agenda.
The biggest challenge to winning a Democratic trifecta is holding on to
our Senate majority. Democrats are facing the toughest Senate map in
years. They have to win in multiple swing states and defend incumbents in
states Trump won. Ultimately, our majority will come down to three pivotal
races: re-electing Jon Tester in Montana and Sherrod Brown in Ohio and
electing Ruben Gallego in Arizona.

These are the seats Harris will need in the Senate, and Indivisibles are
already organizing in all three states -- knocking doors, calling voters,

Montana and Ohio are states Trump won comfortably in 2020, and statewide
elections in Arizona have been some of the closest races in the last six
years -- but we know these are races we can win. Tester and Brown have a
track record of getting re-elected with support from independent and
Republican voters, and since 2016, Arizona has consistently rejected MAGA
candidates for Senate.
With just 75 days until Election Day, we've added $500,000 to our
electoral budget to win critical races like the Senate elections in
Montana, Ohio, and Arizona. This includes expanding our peer-to-peer
texting program, adding new phonebanks, hiring more staff in key
battlegrounds, and increasing support for Indivisible groups and our newly
created All in for Harris Action Teams.

We're fighting to make history with Harris not just in November, but in
2025 too. Our first woman president could sign landmark legislation
codifying reproductive rights nationally. Our Black woman president could
sign the John Lewis Voting Rights Act to end the GOP's decades-long voter
suppression campaign. Our first South Asian woman president could pass one
of the most progressive economic agendas in recent memory, confirm new
justices and judges, and rein in the MAGA corruption on the Supreme Court.
But none of this will happen if Harris is stuck with a MAGA majority in
the Senate blocking her at every step and leaving vacancies on important
circuit courts so big cases (like the Trump documents case) get handed to
unqualified MAGA justices by default. That's why we're working to get
Harris elected and ensure Democrats like Tester, Brown, and Gallego win
alongside her.
