As bars and restaurants prepare to reopen, they will have to comply with various state-issued guidelines. For example, Georgia is allowing only ten patrons per 500 square feet, no self-service drinks, encouraging the use of disposable menus and discontinuing salad bars and buffets. Jim Collins, CEO of Kitchen United, expects there to be multiple phases and that fully opening dining rooms isn’t likely to happen until COVID-19 cases are at almost zero or there is a vaccine.
Respondents claim last quarter was the worst since the global financial crisis

Tri-Eagle Sales teams up to feed hospitality workers
In Florida, Tri-Eagle Sales and Second Harvest of the Big Bend have partnered to host a “Hospitality Day” to support local hospitality workers in need. Hospitality Day will take place on Tuesday, April 28 and hospitality workers can receive a hot meal, food kit and gift cards from local take-out restaurants.
