Kim Olson for Congress

Jack xxxxxx,

Forty years ago, I was the first woman to graduate from USAF pilot training at Laughlin Air Force Base right here in Texas.

Here’s a photo of me climbing into a T-38 Talon, the world’s first supersonic training jet.

Kim climbing into a T-38 Talon.

As a pioneer in the Air Force, I knew that many were expecting, even hoping, for me to fail. A female Air Force pilot seemed plain wrong to many people, but this served to motivate me to be the best pilot -- male or female -- out there.

I feel that same pressure today.

Republicans, with all their talk about supporting veterans, are scared of me because they can’t back their talk up with real progress, and some people from my own party are still uncomfortable with someone who will tell it how it is in Congress.

Now, I know how to pilot this campaign, but I need your help to get the fuel we need to take all the incoming and still come out on top.

Our end-of-month goal is $15,000. We’ve got just FOUR days to hit it. Can you get us started with a gift of $5 today?

In this fight with you,

Kim Olson, Col, USAF, ret.
