John, let’s play a game.
A comparison of VP candidates Tim Walz and JD Vance — and trust us one is not like the other. One candidate has common sense, bravery, and empathy and the other is an apathetic hateful weirdo. 🤡
Tim Walz
“I'm a gun owner, veteran, lifelong hunter, and dad. I know basic gun safety isn’t a threat to the Second Amendment. It’s about keeping guns out of the wrong hands for the safety of our kids.”
Walz understands the gravity of gun violence and the culture of fear in America created by mass shootings and everyday violence. He is pro-gun and pro-Second Amendment, but he also knows guns – especially assault rifles – don’t belong in everyone’s hands.
He is a veteran of the Army National Guard and retired after serving for 24 years.

JD Vance
“I think that we have to ask ourselves: What is the real gun violence problem in this country, and are we legislating in a way that solves fake problems? Or solves real problems?”
JD Vance doesn’t believe gun violence is a major issue. After everything we’ve seen over the last few years, the deaths, terror, and horror that guns have brought to communities across the country, JD Vance is STILL choosing to protect guns over our lives. Children sit as targets in schools but to him, that’s a “fake problem.”
Walz on the other hand has passed common sense gun laws already. His new red flag law, an extreme risk protection order (ERPO), bars individuals who are a threat to themselves or others from possessing firearms.
Kamala Harris’ pick for VP is a proven advocate for gun safety. Now is the time to band together and get Harris and Walz elected so that post-election we can make enormous strides for gun safety. Let’s build a safer future today — will you donate now so we can ensure Harris and Walz win this November? [[link removed]]
