Making Money Make Change (MMMC), Resource Generation’s annual gathering, is back in Nashville just days after a critical electoral moment in U.S. history. Come be among your people at the Scarritt Bennett Center [[link removed]] in Nashville, TN, Nov. 21-24.
MMMC is an inviting, nourishing space for people aged 18-35 with access to wealth and class privilege. What unites all our participants is we are people who dream of a future in which everyone –regardless of race, class, gender expression, ability, or religion–have what they need to thrive. And we are ready to redistribute our resources and leverage our power to bring our dream to life.
For more than 25 years, MMMC has been a space for participants to connect with liberation movements that need more hearts, hands, and dollars. This four-day conference is a space for participants to step into the fullest expression of their power and possibility. Through workshops, storytelling circles, identity caucusing, talks by experienced organizers & activists, small group discussions, and personal reflection & healing spaces, participants are given the rare opportunity to become more liberated versions of themselves within values-aligned community.
MMMC 2024 will offer a Transforming Philanthropy track for those who are High Net Wealth and/or involved in Family Philanthropy. The track will provide unique workshops and specialized small group pod time, while also engaging with many of the general MMMC offerings.
Note on COVID safety: Throughout MMMC, we will center the needs of our participants who face COVID-related risks. This means everyone will be asked to:
Wear masks indoors when not eating/drinking (free masks will be provided)
Take a PCR test the morning of your travel to Nashville (participants will need to identify their own PCR test access)
Take a rapid test daily (free tests will be provided)
Beyond COVID safety, the MMMC team is centering Disability Justice and Anti-Racism principles in every design detail. We’ll continue to share insights and tell you about our partners in the weeks to come, but know that at a minimum, you can expect that:
Your access needs will be anticipated and accounted for at every moment (think: labeled nutritious food, comfy chairs for all body shapes and sizes, a fragrance-free zone, extensive covid precautions and more).
You’ll have time to engage in caucusing spaces with people who share your most important identities.
Healing spaces and activities will be available for you to tend to your body & spirit and all the history and hurt they may carry.

Potential Pod Leaders: save the dates Nov. 20-24. If you’ve led a praxis group, been to MMMC, or attended another RG retreat, we’d love you’d to be a Pod Leader! This leadership role is responsible for warmly welcoming newcomers into RG, modeling thoughtful member behavior in a cross-class space, and creating a “home base” for participants to process new learnings. Pod Leaders are asked to join MMMC a day early for a Reflective Leadership training on Wednesday, November 20.
