Indivisibles, 

[ [link removed] ]The energy behind Kamala Harris’ candidacy continues: over 38,000 new
voters registered in the 48 hours after the announcement of her candidacy,
and that number jumped to over 100,000 within the week. And, in addition
to the incredible fundraising moment Kamala has inspired, [ [link removed] ]Democratic
parties in battleground states are also seeing a surge in volunteer
signups. 

I don’t know if you’re as energized as we are, but we’re ready to win this
thing! And we haven’t even gotten to her next big announcement yet.

In the next 24 hours, Kamala will be announcing her running mate. 

Regardless of which of the finalists she chooses, we’re ecstatic to know
that we will have a complete ticket we can rally behind. Each potential VP
on her short list brings a wealth of experience and expertise and would
help deliver the battleground votes Harris will need to pull this off. 

In a race that just a month ago felt, to some, like a rehash of 2020, we
are watching a new wave of Democratic leaders take center stage -- and the
future looks bright. 

Now is the time to keep capitalizing on this wave. Some of you have been
with us since 2016, some of you just signed up last week, but all of us
stand behind a commitment to making this world a little brighter. There
are so many more people out there right now looking for a way to do the
same. Let’s show them the Indivisible way.

Whitesides for CA-27 Tuesday, August 6 at 6:30pm ET/3:30pm PT.
Whitesides is running for one of the 18 most competitive House seats
up this cycle against MAGA Republican Mike Garcia. It is not enough to
elect Kamala Harris to the Oval Office. We need to deliver her a
Democratic Congress who can make her agenda a reality. Help us call
into CA-27 to turn this November into a blue wave. 
 2. [ [link removed] ]Register for Women Wednesdays for Harris weekly at 8:30pm ET/5:30pm
PT through the election. Every Wednesday through Election Day, we will
be partnering on a national call bringing together women from all
across the country to build community, strategize, and share tools to
drive a Harris victory in November. Each call will feature special
guest speakers that you won’t want to miss (we’ve already seen P!nk
and Megan Rapinoe). This week’s call will focus on initial steps to
organize locally and table setting for your people. Future potential
topics include how to take action immediately, navigating social
media, relational organizing, and more.

specific resources on Project 2025, its impact, and how we need to
talk about it to win in November, and we answered. Project 2025 is the
most thorough blueprint we have ever seen from MAGA Republicans on how

achieve power. But as dangerous as their plan is for the American
people, it is just as damaging to their electability. But only when
people know about it. We have to make sure people understand just how

presidential battlegrounds where the election will be decided this year.

drive progressive change. The people come first. 

So how do we make sure we’re setting ourselves up for success in creating
a welcoming, safe, and collaborative atmosphere for new activists?

Our Majority Over MAGA 30-Minute Clinics will be a series of quick,
practical sessions focused on building your people power this election
cycle. We’ll focus on making your group a welcoming space for new members
and building community through electoral work that can last past November.
Each round offers an afternoon option and an evening option for maximum
access. The sessions will not be recorded, so join in real time. 

The first round was very informative last week, don’t miss out on rounds

Demand Your Members of Congress Call For A Ceasefire

Netanyahu’s military executed an air strike on a school on Sunday, killing
30 Palestinians and wounding dozens more.

[ [link removed] ]According to The New York Times: This was the third attack on a school
in four days. 

While the Israeli military claims, once again, that the school was a
command center for Hamas, the school had been used as a shelter for
displaced Palestinians. And in the end, most of the victims were women and
children. 

As Netanyahu continues to prolong a conflict that everyone wants to end,
it is innocent children who are suffering the most. 

Meanwhile, it has been reported in Israeli media that Biden told Netanyahu
to “stop bullshitting me” and make a ceasefire deal. [ [link removed] ]Biden himself has
expressed that he had a “very direct” meeting with Netanyahu as
Netanyahu’s government and military continue to fan the flames of a larger
regional conflict. 

The framework for a ceasefire has existed for some time now. It’s past
time that Netanyahu came to the table in an honest effort to get it done.
It’s time for the hostages to come home. It’s time for peace.

We need to turn up the pressure on our elected officials to use every
ounce of leverage to secure a ceasefire -- that means withholding
offensive military assistance from Netanyahu until he comes to the table
with a true goal of peace.

We have updated our contact resources to reflect the current situation.
Now we need you to call and email your representatives, and push them to
act. The US cannot sit idly by while schools are being bombed. It’s past
time to stop this bloodshed.
