Big news in the Republican Primary for governor. There is a dark money
Democrat group run by Jim Hood's longtime campaign manager working to influence
the Republican primary. They are spending big money on attack ads to hurt Tate
Reeves and help Bill Waller. They want to pick their own opponent. It's a dirty
scheme.
They've even taken steps to hide the donor from public scrutiny. Is it George
Soros or Michael Bloomberg? We'll never know. Hood's campaign manager refused
to say. Y'all Politics reported

not to disclose." If Tate refused to disclose his donors, the press would lose
their minds. When Hood does it, they look the other way.
So here's the bottom line: Jim Hood wants Bill Waller to win the Republican
primary. The Democrats want Bill Waller to win the Republican primary. They are
running attack ads to make it happen. The reason is clear. Just look at the
reporting from the Democrats' friends:
Mississippi Today: “Hood and Waller agree on a number of issues… The point is
that Waller and Hood are closer on policy issues than are Hood and Reeves.”
New Yorker: “Hood will be arguing many of the same points as Waller.”
Governing Magazine: “[Hood] and Waller share similar positions on key issues."
Hood and Waller both support Obamacare and want to increase taxes. When
Republicans act like Democrats, Republicans lose. That's what the Democrats are
counting on.
Don't let the Democrats and Waller get away with their collusion. Spread the
word, and vote for Tate Reeves on August 27th.
