President Biden has just called for Supreme Court reforms. Do you agree with him?

John,

The past few years we’ve had to reckon with just how powerful a corrupt, unchecked Supreme Court can really be.

This can’t go on. Do you agree that the Supreme Court needs major reforms to serve the people? Take our quick survey now to let us know!

They’ve rolled back some of our most fundamental rights including reproductive and civil rights protections, and continue to threaten basic, common-sense gun safety reform.

That’s why we’re happy to see President Biden call for the following reforms to the Supreme Court:

  1. Term Limits for Supreme Court Justices.
  2. No One Is Above the Law Amendment will state that the Constitution does not confer any immunity from federal criminal indictment, trial, conviction, or sentencing by virtue of previously serving as President.
  3. A Binding Code of Conduct for the Supreme Court that requires Justices to disclose gifts, refrain from public political activity, and recuse themselves from cases in which they or their spouses have financial or other conflicts of interest.

As it exists now, the Supreme Court is still poised to majorly harm gun safety. A corrupt, conservative court having this much power over our lives is dangerous, especially when they are listening to their friends and wallets rather than the American people.

These reforms would be a step in the right direction of checking the court’s power and ensuring that they serve the people and protect our rights — not a political agenda that rolls back gun safety progress.

We want to know: Do you agree that we need Supreme Court reform? Tell us your thoughts today.
