Every voter should be able to easily and efficiently cast their vote this November. That’s why it’s so important that poll workers are identified early and often to help make sure each vote is easily cast.
Today is Poll Worker Recruitment Day and we’re partnering with Power the Polls to help find people in communities around the country to help make sure election sites run smoothly.

Poll workers are critical to help maintain safe and accessible in-person voting for our communities, particularly for those without reliable access to mail service, voters with disabilities, voters who need language assistance, or voters who just want to cast their ballot in person.
This presidential election year, our democracy needs poll workers who are committed to ensuring safe, fair, and free elections for all voters. Working as a poll worker is a great way to give back, support the process of democracy, and in some regions, get paid!
When you sign up, Power the Polls will direct you to the official poll worker application for your area. Once you submit that application, you’ll hear from your election administrator about opportunities in your community.
