John, have you felt a new energy?
We sure have. In the last couple of weeks, we have seen a wave of momentum and hope reignited. Young people are fired up, ready to stop another Trump presidency and secure a better, safer future for us all.
We must take advantage of this moment, John. This is a unique opportunity for us to mobilize young people across the country, and get out the vote in key states. We need leaders at all levels of government to protect our futures by passing gun safety legislation, addressing rising living costs, and so much more. To make that a reality, we have to get young people to the polls. Fortunately, they’re on their way.
Over the last few days, we’ve had record-breaking RSVPs for our mass volunteer call, with hundreds of youth joining or recommitting to this movement. These are the volunteers we’ll train to register their peers to vote, text and call Americans across the country to help them make a plan to vote, and secure petition signatures for gun safety legislation. We’re laying the foundation for winning but still have so much more to do before November 5th. Young people are ready to change the future of this country and we’re going to get them there. But we can’t slow down. In fact, now is the time to speed up. We hope you’ll join us.
