Sheriff Penzone continues to put the needs of the people of Maricopa County first. And for the second quarter in a row, our campaign proved that Arizonans believe in Sheriff Penzone’s vision and work for Maricopa County. In the first fiscal quarter of the year, 97% of our campaign funds came from Arizonans.
In contrast, our opponent Joe Arpaio continued to cash checks from out-of-state donors. Just 6.6% of his donations in the first quarter came from Arizonans!
The numbers are clear. Arizonans will never again tolerate Joe Arpaio’s criminal abuse of power, disregard for the rule of law, and frivolous waste of hundreds of millions of taxpayer dollars.

Sheriff Penzone has restored professional and effective law enforcement to MCSO.
He has created a $20 million surplus, seized nearly $50 million worth of illicit drugs, closed Tent City, established the Fugitive Apprehension Tactical Enforcement (FATE) team to close the backlog of unserved felony warrants, and created a landmark school safety forum to keep our children safe.
