Friend,

Senator Rand Paul has thrown his full support behind my campaign for U.S. Senate in Michigan, and I couldn’t be more honored.

Rand Paul endorses Justin Amash

I still remember like yesterday visiting the Senate floor to support Rand during his nearly 11-hour filibuster against reauthorizing the Patriot Act.

It’s not easy being principled. And it certainly earns you some enemies.

That’s why I need your help.

The D.C. Establishment has been fighting me since my earliest days in the U.S. House because I stick to my conservative principles and can’t be bought or bullied.

And now that I’m running for U.S. Senate, where I would have an even bigger platform to fight for liberty and stand up for the American people, they’re hell-bent on keeping me out.

The Establishment opposes my principled approach so much that they’re massively subsidizing the campaign of my primary opponent – a pro-war, anti-privacy, Bush-Cheney neocon who has no real chance of winning the general election in a state like Michigan.

But I must win this primary.

The result of this primary election could be the difference between Republicans retaking the majority or playing defense for at least another two years.

And it’s absolutely the difference between having a U.S. senator from Michigan who will defend freedom and stand up for you and one who will assault freedom and spy on you.

My primary is in less than two weeks. We have the grassroots energy on our side, and we’re in a great position to win, but we need your help to keep our outreach and ground game strong through Election Day.

We can do it with your help. Anything you give today will make a big difference for my campaign and the fight for liberty.
