Governor Tim Walz here.
Donald Trump and JD Vance are coming to my state on Saturday to kick off a
three-and-a-half-month blitz to flip us red for the first time since 1972.
They’ll secure their path to the White House if they succeed.
[ [link removed] ]I’ll say more about why we cannot let that happen in a moment. But
first, I’m asking you to help us reach our $50,000 goal by Trump and
Vance’s visit on Saturday so we can fight back and keep Minnesota blue
this November.

Before becoming Governor of Minnesota, I was a high school teacher and
football coach. Trump and Vance like to demonize public education, but as
someone who learned and taught in rural schools, I know that public
schools are the heart of rural America.
The truth is Trump and Vance know nothing about rural America. I grew up
in a town of 400 people. Take it from me: Small towns don’t work because
everyone is closed-minded and prejudiced. They work because people mind
their own damn business.
People in small towns respect their neighbors and their choices. They
respect who they love. They respect their health care decisions and what
books they read. It’s not about hate. It’s not about collapsing in. It’s
about coming together and lifting each other up.
Phony opportunists like Donald Trump and JD Vance don’t know who we are,
and they sure as hell don’t respect our values.
Trump is a 34-count convicted felon and an adjudicated sexual assaulter
who does nothing but try to divide people for his own political gain and
personal ambition.
Vance is an election denier who supports a national abortion ban, voted
against IVF access, and attacked Social Security and Medicare as “the
biggest roadblocks to any kind of real fiscal sanity,” all so he can give
tax cuts to big corporations and his buddies in Silicon Valley.
On top of it all, these guys are just weird,
John. And
that's why they’re going to lose Minnesota in November. And Wisconsin. And
Michigan. And Pennsylvania.
Democrats are united behind Vice President Kamala Harris, and the Blue
Wall will hold. But make no mistake: Trump and Vance are going to throw
everything they have at us over the next three and a half months.
I’m doing everything I can to sound the alarm and rally Democrats to the
polls in Minnesota and across the country. But nothing we do is possible
without grassroots support from people like you.
