Indivisibles,
Since President Biden made the extraordinary decision to pass the baton to
Vice President Harris to be the Democratic nominee for president, the
energy and enthusiasm has been palpable -- and it’s only growing
   stronger.
   Within hours after Biden’s announcement, a record-breaking 44,000 Black
women joined a Win With Black Women call to begin planning their work to
support Harris. They showed up with a goal of raising $1 million in 100
days, and broke their goal in three hours -- raising $1.6 million for the
Harris campaign. Soon after, a call was organized for Black men, with more
than 45,000 joining to raise $1.3 million for Harris’ campaign.
At a time when DEI, woke politics, and affirmative action are being used
in racist attacks by MAGA Republicans, Black Americans once again proved
that they will show up and show out as a backbone of the Democratic
   Party.
Now it’s time to make sure every community is doing its part in electing
Kamala Harris to be our first woman president, our first Black woman
president, and our first South Asian woman president. [ [link removed] ]We are proud to
partner with Shannon Watts, founder of Moms Demand Action, and allies
across the country to host a national call to coordinate our collective
efforts to ensure Harris’ victory and Trump’s resounding defeat this
   November.

It is imperative that we speak openly about why we are talking to white
women specifically in this moment. In 2016, a plurality of white female
voters turned out in support of Donald Trump and were key to his winning
the election and defeating Hillary Clinton. Despite everything we knew
about Trump’s vile history with women, his disgusting comments throughout
the campaign, and his alignment with the most hateful elements of the
Republican party, many white women cast a vote for him.
Eight years later, we are all still living through the devastating impact
   of that election.
We know that the Indivisible network is largely, though not exclusively,
made up of white women. To our white female Indivisibles: We know how
seriously you take our responsibility to make sure that what happened in
2016 never happens again. We are a crucial part of the coalition needed to
elect Vice President Harris. We have the unique ability right now to speak
honestly to others within our own community. If we are dedicated to
electing Harris and defeating Trump, we must get organized now to take on
   this critical work.
This is our time to rise to the challenge of this moment. The MAGA GOP
will use every tool and every dollar at their disposal to discredit,
diminish, slander, and vilify Vice President Harris. We’re already seeing
proof that they have no hesitation to resort to sexist and racist
language, and with Donald Trump as their leader, we know this is only the
   tip of the iceberg.
But we can fight back. It is essential that all of us, especially white
Indivisibles, are ready to call out these attacks and to call in our
friends, family, neighbors, and community members when we hear and see
   them in our daily lives.
For our white Indivisibles: This is what true allyship looks like in
practice, and we want the network prepared and committed to take this on.
This is our time to do more than just cast our vote on Election Day -- we
need to use our power to educate and mobilize as many voters as we can to
build an overwhelming wave of support. It’s not just enough that Harris
wins the presidency. We need to power a massive rebuke of the racist,
sexist, xenophobic, and anti-democratic foundations of the cult of MAGA.
Please note that this call to action is specifically centered around
activating white women to get to work, but everyone is welcome to attend
    this important event.
To our non-white Indivisibles: This is not a call to exclude you, but
instead creating a space to call in white allies and assure they get to
speaking out, organizing, and educating themselves and their friends in
communities and spaces only they have access to through years of
institutional inequality. White women have an obligation to share this
   responsibility.
Together, we will not only beat Trump again and stop Project 2025’s
insidious agenda. We will make history and pave the way to pass
reproductive freedom, voting rights, democracy reform and much more.
