We all just experienced one of the most politically consequential weekends of our lives. In a selfless act, President Biden announced he will not seek re-election and endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris.

The last four years have been anything but easy — but President Biden has led our nation with courage, wisdom, grace and strength. Join us in signing a card thanking him for his 50-year career of service and sacrifice:

As he selflessly passes the torch to future generations, I wanted to take a moment to reflect on what his presidency has meant to our children. So I penned a letter to President Biden from what I imagine the children of America might say to him (here’s a quick excerpt):

We are the children of America. Some of us are learning to take our first steps and some of us are almost adults. We are White. We are Black. We are Brown. We are rich. We are poor. Some of us were born here, some of us were brought here by our parents in search of a better life. We all have one thing in common, we have our whole lives ahead of us.

From the COVID-19 pandemic to gun violence to the rise of social media to mental health to the climate crisis to attacks on our democracy, our kids have seen and experienced a LOT these past four years — and President Biden has been there to offer comfort and deliver solutions for our kids every step of the way.
