Campaign finance reports show that in March, as the outcome of the Democratic presidential contest became apparent, Democratic donors in Virginia coalesced behind former Vice President Joe Biden. The presumed Democratic nominee raised more than $1 million from individuals from Virginia in March, compared to $137,000 raised by President Donald Trump.
