Amid the two weeks of breathless coverage of President Biden’s debate performance and praise for Donald Trump’s new “disciplined” campaign by the legacy media, you may have missed the news on Trump’s recent unhinged and barely coherent rally in South Florida.

During the rally, Trump played the hits, spouting his usual litany of lies, hate, and grievances. 

Notably, however, the rally was full of slip-ups and incoherent statements.

Here’s what we mean:

• Trump repeatedly slurred his words and, in one particularly incomprehensible line, promised mothers would never see their children “overdosing and hosplee (?)” (whatever that means).
• He warned that if you go and visit Washington D.C. to see the Jefferson Memorial or the Washington Monument, you will be “shot, mugged and raped” despite the fact that the violent crime rate has dropped there by 30% in the last year. 
• He claimed his son Don Jr. is married when he’s actually just engaged.

So, it’s fair to ask, where is the media outrage? Where are the calls for Trump to suspend his campaign?

Since the debate, he’s called for his political enemies to be jailed or tried in televised military tribunals. He lied about the crime rates in D.C., called the U.S. a “third world country,” and then claimed free speech was no longer allowed in the U.S.
