Join us this September in Novi, Michigan, at the Great Lakes Drinking Water Conference as we commemorate 50 years of progress and innovation in drinking water! Hosted by the Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy (EGLE), this milestone event celebrates the transformative impact of the Safe Drinking Water Act (SDWA) since its inception in 1974.

This event is a unique opportunity to reflect on the remarkable achievements and challenges of the past five decades while exploring the exciting possibilities for the future of drinking water quality. Featuring case studies, cutting-edge research, and invaluable lessons learned, this conference will cover crucial topics such as source water protection, drinking water system operations, and visionary plans for the next 50 years.

The conference intends to bring together professionals, including community water supply personnel, local officials, community representatives, partners from the local, state, and federal levels, academia, consultants, service providers, source water protection partners, and others from the Great Lakes region.
