Remember when Ron DeSantis ran for President? 😂
Believe it or not, that was only a year ago.
After bowing out of the race following a series of humiliating defeats to
Donald Trump, DeSantis’ focus once again turned to his state of Florida.
And things haven't been great since,
John:
DeSantis has been described by some as the “future of the MAGA movement”,
and others as more “disciplined.”
We couldn’t agree less with the latter,
John.

DeSantis — just like Trump and others in today’s GOP aren’t outliers —
they are in fact the face of the GOP. And while he may come off as less
aggressive than Trump, both DeSantis share the same exact agenda and seek
to undermine and destroy our democracy.
During his time as Governor, DeSantis has presided over increased attacks
on the LGBTQ+ community, additional voting restrictions, restrictions on
free expression and speech, book bannings, and a six-week abortion ban.
And with the Florida legislature in lockstep with him, we can only assume
he’ll continue to implement his destructive agenda.
That’s why we’re raising awareness and doing everything we can to support
and uplift grassroots organizations in Florida fighting DeSantis and his
far-right agenda.
