We are in a strong position today, and it’s in no small part because of people like you.

John xxxxxx,

We are in a strong position today, and it’s in no small part because of people like you. More than 100,000 people have contributed to Labour since the general election started — the vast majority giving small amounts in response to emails like this one to help us win.

But we cannot lose sight of what’s at stake here and how huge the task at hand is on Thursday. The biggest risk to us right now is complacency.

So please, say you’re with us and willing to do whatever you can to get a Labour victory across the line by making an online contribution today. We’ll immediately invest it in the closest battleground seats.

Look, the Tories are an election-winning machine.

They told The Times that they’re saving up the vast majority of their ammunition for the final 48 hours, so they can win back the voters that put them into Number 10, and they’re hoping good people like you are looking at the polls and thinking there’s no need to take action.

They’re hoping that voters assume Labour has it in the bag  — letting the Tories sneak their way into five more years of government. So we need you to ignore the polls.

We’ve thrown out the old playbook, and we are running the kind of campaign that it takes to win and turn the page on 14 years of Tory chaos.

It is a significant undertaking. We’re making a historic number of voter contacts, and we’re running the most sophisticated digital ads programme in the history of the Labour Party.

But to finish this campaign strong — and secure Labour’s mandate for change, we need you to join us and help us hit our £1 million goal.

Can you please make an online donation to our campaign? We cannot afford to falter now with polling day just two days away.

Thank you. This is a historic campaign, and you’ll be proud to say you owned a piece of it by doing everything you could to deliver a mandate for change with Labour.

Thank you,

Team Labour
