As much as this pains me to say, when we tallied the numbers after last night’s FEC-mandated end-of-quarter deadline, we ended up with a shortfall of $6,790.

That may not seem like a lot, but in the most important election year of our lives, every single dollar counts – and this shortfall would force us to slash budgets right as we enter the most important stretch of the campaign.

With Elise preparing to celebrate her 40th birthday tomorrow, the last thing I want to do is call her and tell her we missed this critical goal.

Fortunately, we have a plan to get us back on track…

Our team made some calls and secured an internal ONE DAY EXTENSION to give us until 11:59 P.M. tonight!

I know you’ve already done a lot, John – but right now, you're our only hope of making up this shortfall in the next 24 hours.

I’ll be sure to let Elise know exactly who stepped up for us at this make-or-break moment.
