Hi John -- I really wish I didn’t have to write this email. When I wrote to you yesterday, I really thought we were on track to hit our goal for the week. Unfortunately, contributions slowed yesterday evening, and we fell short by $1,250.

This campaign isn’t just about me -- it’s about bold ideas to shape the future we want, particularly when it comes to big issues like the climate emergency or protecting and expanding our democracy. That’s why we can’t fail, and why I just don’t want to let this campaign down.

The bottom line is that without our digital grassroots support, we run a real risk of needing to cut back our campaign. With so much at stake, I think you’d agree we can’t let this happen. But it comes down to what we do here today.

Can you rush an emergency contribution of $25, $50, or whatever you can right away? Here’s a link: [link removed]

Thank you for being with me right now. Let’s do this.

Phil
