First and foremost, we need to say thank you to everybody who has supported our general election campaign. We’re so grateful to the more than 100,000 people who have generously chipped in to get us to this stage of the campaign - just five days from our chance to deliver the next Labour government and change Britain. You all are the heart of this campaign. It is humbling.

The truth is we are reaching out with a request today because we need people like you to lift us up - to make sure we have the resources to finish this fight and win on Thursday 4 July.

We’re heading into the final stretch of this campaign. Right now, everything is kicking into an even higher gear. The Tories have said publicly that they’re about to up their spending and attacks against us significantly.

Look, they can spend whatever they want on desperate tactics. Because we already see how desperate they’ve gotten, and we’re ready. We’re not going to back down, because the future of our country is on the line. The stakes could not be higher, and you deserve a government that will fight for you.

The Tories want to uphold the broken status quo of the past 14 years. They’re ready to keep wrecking our economy and our public services - and they really don’t care, as long as they stay in power. We know what the past 14 years have cost us, and none of us can afford another five.

We’ve said it from the start: this campaign is about change. It’s about delivering a better future for all of us. It’s a chance to once again place our government in the service of working people and make this country work for people like you.

But none of us can do that alone. All of us have a role to play because change only happens when we work together.
