Dr. Lindsay Weaver, Commissioner of the Indiana Department of Health, led a
conversation with community health leaders about the Health First Indiana
initiative. This program is transforming public health through local
partnerships and data-driven solutions to enhance the well-being of Hoosiers.
Another important part of the playbook that was discussed at the huddle was
Governor Holcomb’s commitment to ensuring students are ready for the careers of
tomorrow. Cabinet members discussed statewide initiatives focused on preparing
students for postsecondary success and workforce readiness, all to help fulfill
the Governor’s Next Level Agenda.
