   John—
This Sunday, we’ll close the books on our fundraising for this quarter.
Last we checked, we’re still behind where we need to be. [ [link removed] ]Jon’s hoping
you’ll be able to help us out with a donation or two before the
deadline—but first, let us explain why this matters:
Every quarter, candidates running for office must report contributions to
the Federal Election Commission—then, those numbers become public. It’s a
great way for politicians to be honest about the type of campaign they’re
   running.
And it’s also a big test of our campaign’s strength. The FEC report will
show the amount of money we raised and the number of people who
contributed to our campaign. That means everyone will get to see the
numbers we report and just how strong (or vulnerable) this campaign is.
Jon hasn’t had much time to keep tabs on our fundraising, so we’re taking
over for him and asking you to chip in anything you can to get us back on
   track before the deadline.
[ [link removed] ]Donate $10 now to own a piece of this campaign and help us raise enough
funds to compete with our wealthy opponent and protect our majority in the
Senate. If you pitch in before the deadline, you’ll get your name in our
   FEC report.
Please use the links in this email to start a monthly donation through
                                    ActBlue.
