I’m a retired Navy Captain who served for 25 years in Special Operations. I served on the front lines disarming explosives with seconds to spare and performed some of the most dangerous deep dives in the military.
I was inspired to serve because America gave me everything. My family escaped Communist Vietnam to the United States after my father was put on the Vietcong’s kill list.
If it wasn’t for American freedom, I probably wouldn’t be here today.
I answered the call to duty when I was appointed to the Naval Academy as a young man. Now, I’m answering the call of duty to Americans once again. But my new mission is a little different.
I’m now the OFFICIAL GOP nominee running for the U.S. Senate in Virginia because our voters believe our country needs true conservative leaders who put service over self.
I put my life on the line for our American values and freedom because I know that America is worth defending.
But today, career politicians like Tim “Hillary” Kaine are eroding the very liberties my fellow troops and I risked the ultimate sacrifice for. They’ve lost sight of what matters and are more interested in playing political games than serving the people they’re supposed to represent.
Now, I’m stepping up because we need a change.
I fought for this country once, taking on terrorists face to face - I’m certainly not afraid to take on establishment politicians.
We need strong leaders who will put the hardworking American people before special interests and the Clinton family insiders.
I’ve made a commitment to our country before, and now, I’m ready to make a new one as a U.S. Senator.
Sam Brown is a Purple Heart recipient, a small businessman, and a committed husband and father.
After graduating from West Point, he was commissioned as an Infantry Officer. In 2008, Sam was deployed to Afghanistan.
Only four months into his deployment, Sam was on a mission when he received word that another nearby platoon had been ambushed. Upon entering the engagement area, a roadside bomb detonated under the fuel tank of his vehicle, leaving him drenched in diesel and covered in flames.
Following the injuries he sustained, Sam was medically retired from the military. During his recovery, Sam realized that God had given him a new life — a life meant to be dedicated to a different kind of service.
Now, Sam is running to represent Nevada in the United States Senate, and he needs your support.
