Here’s something I hate to do, folks:
I have been trying my best to spend as little time as possible thinking about our fundraising numbers, but I just heard from our finance team that we’re not on track to reach our mid-month fundraising goal before the deadline.
After my self-funding opponent and several dark money groups spent a combined $13 million, flooding Wisconsin’s airwaves with ads uplifting Eric Hovde and directly attacking me, our campaign was in a difficult position.
We couldn’t let those attacks go unanswered. So, we took a risk and increased our ad buy for this quarter. Now, we have an ambitious goal to hit so we can stay on track — and I’m hoping I can count on you to help us reach it:
