Hi there, it’s Michelle Vallejo. It’s that time of year again — another public filing deadline to the Federal Election Commission (FEC) is coming up. I know your inbox is going to start looking even more overwhelming as we get closer to the deadline, so I wanted to take a moment to explain why exactly they’re so important.
Every single campaign is required by law to submit financial information to the FEC by the end of every quarter — that’s March, June, September, and December. We’re coming up on our second deadline of the election year, and how we present our fundraising numbers is going to be SO important to what happens in November.
Hitting our goals is important for our internal benchmarks — but these are also numbers that the GOP is going to watch like a hawk. They look at Democratic fundraising to gauge their chances of holding seats and holding onto their majority in 2024, which impacts what risks they take to pass their extremist agenda in the current Congress.
We’re not going to show the NRCC, mega donors, GOP pundits, and my MAGA extremist opponent ANY sign of weakness. Ahead of the end of the quarter, my team and I set a mid-month goal to raise $10,000 before the week ends. Can I count on your support today?

I’ve said it once, and I’ll say it again: This campaign is a community effort. When one of us wins, we all win.
We need to come together to show everyone watching that our community-powered campaign is stronger than MAGA special interests. There is strength in numbers, and I believe that there are more of us ready for progress in Texas than those content with the Republican establishment.
¡Vamos por Quince!
Michelle
