John:

Can you join me this Monday, April 20 at 11am for a VIRTUAL Town Hall meeting on the effort to save Prop 13 and stop a massive property tax from being imposed on California taxpayers?

Monday is supposed to mark “Tax Freedom Day” in California — the day where the average taxpayer has finally earned enough money during the year to pay their federal, state, and local taxes.

Despite the massive layoffs and economic turmoil associated with the Coronavirus lockdowns, California politicians are still hell bent on passing a deceptive initiative on the November ballot that will gut Prop 13 (from 1978) and impose a massive statewide property tax hike. That’s not all. Our local politicians are still planning several initiatives to increase local property taxes, too!

Monday’s Virtual Town Hall will outline the campaigns we are running through Reform California to block these tax hikes. The meeting is EASY to attend -- by phone, over the internet on Zoom, or on Facebook Live. RSVP for the Town Hall and get the simple instructions for attending here.

Hope you can make it on Monday!

Best,

Carl DeMaio
Chairman
Reform California
