Folks, as local organizers work tirelessly to register voters and encourage civic engagement ahead of Election Day, counter-efforts are underway:

The Republican National Committee has recruited a self-described army of 100,000 people to “oversee” volunteers, and if you’re thinking that doesn’t sound like a good thing, you’d be right.

When reporters asked exactly what these 100,000 recruits would be doing, Republican officials refused to give a concrete answer.

Folks, we’ve seen both voters and organizers be intimidated by Republican door knockers, and GOP lawmakers have passed legislation that criminalized the work done by voter registration groups.
