Jamie Raskin and AOC blasted the Supreme Court’s corruption at a hearing
yesterday – and again together on MSNBC with Chris Hayes.
AOC warned that the Supreme Court faces a "crisis of legitimacy" because
it has been "captured and corrupted by money and extremism." Raskin added
that "The highest court in the land today has the lowest ethical
   standards."
And today, Senate Republicans will oppose a Supreme Court ethics bill!
   Absolutely nuts.

   Supreme Court legitimacy crisis.
Senator Sheldon Whitehouse also joined the hearing, connecting the dots
between a web of dark money coming from a cabal of billionaires, the
conservative super-majority cemented by Trump, and the Court’s political
rulings that consistently go against the will of the people:
WHITEHOUSE: "We have seen the billionaire-funded judicial selection
process…that puts them on the court, then the billionaire gifts program
kicks in to make sure the amenable justices are provided lifestyles of the
rich and famous…and the whole thing is funded by dark money."
The result, AOC says, is that "Americans are losing fundamental rights in
the process, reproductive health care, civil liberties, voting rights, the
right to organize, clean air and water – because the court has been
captured and corrupted by money and extremism."
We need heroes like Raskin and AOC shining the spotlight on Supreme Court
corruption, and working to elect Democrats who will get it done.
