I grew up in Mexico and came to America when I was 17 years old, then went on to spend my career in law enforcement and the military. 

I understand the issues at our southern border better than most, and I deployed to the border in the early days of President Trump’s administration. 

What President Biden has allowed to happen down there over the last three years is a total failure. And it’s a failure that’s endangering communities and families across the country.

Here’s the latest example. 

These eight terrorists crossed our border illegally, were detained, and were then released into our country.

It’s just plain wrong. And it’s a clear threat to our national security.

I’ll continue to call out this failure to keep our country safe.
