Dear John,

It is with a heavy heart that I write to you today. After much reflection and consideration, my family and I made the difficult decision to suspend my campaign for the U.S. Congressional Democratic Primary race in Delaware.

As I write this message, I can't help but think back to the beginning of this journey. We started with a simple yet powerful mission: to stand up for the marginalized, to fight for justice, and to create a better future for all Delawareans. And with your unwavering support, we embarked on this path together.

For the past 11 months, we have been making calls, knocking on doors, attending community gatherings, and meeting Delawareans where they live. And each moment has been a testament to the incredible dedication and passion of our supporters. You have been the driving force behind this campaign, and for that, I am eternally grateful.

While this may be the end of my campaign, it is by no means the end of our shared mission. The values we fought for — equality, fairness, and opportunity — are as important now as they have ever been.

I want to express my deepest gratitude to each and every one of you. Your belief in me and in our shared vision has been nothing short of inspiring. It has been an honor and a privilege to have your support throughout this journey.

As we move forward, let us carry with us the lessons learned, the connections made, and the hope for a brighter future. Together, we can continue to stand tall for Delaware and make a difference in the lives of those who need it most.
