Dear Young Democrats,
On June 30, the position of Treasurer of the Young Democrats of America (YDA) will become vacant when current Treasurer Isabel Dobbel has indicated to the Executive Committee and the National Committee that they will resign from office.
Article VI, Section 7 of the YDA Charter states that:
"If any . . . officer resigns or otherwise vacates office then the President shall appoint a member who is eligible to serve . . . to serve as an interim officer. The National Committee shall confirm the President’s appointment of an interim Executive Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer or DNC member to serve the remainder of the term of office at the next National Committee meeting."
If you are interested in serving as YDA Interim Treasurer, please complete this application by June 20, 2024.
