  Financial Case for Enhanced Street Sweeping

You are invited to join us at a lunch & learn event for the Clean Sweep Program which aims to provide you with the tools, training, and resources you need to develop or enhance a street sweeping program for water quality. Join the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency and the University of Minnesota Water Resources Center on June 27th in Woodbury, MN or virtually. Lunch will be provided if attending in-person for this free event.
This Lunch & Learn event includes:
- Resources & tools to make the financial case for street sweeping
- simple and effective data and graphics
- slides and materials to share with your decision-makers
- overview of estimating tools to help you calculate and communicate potential benefits to your community
- Case Study Presentations: highlighting successful programs
- City of Woodbury in partnership with SWWD
- City of Forest Lake in partnership with CLFLWD
Who should attend:
- anyone who would like a better general understanding of the financial benefits of enhanced street sweeping
- anyone working with or managing a street sweeping program that would like more information on the financial benefits to increasing the investment
- anyone who is currently planning or considering a new enhanced street sweeping program in 2025
- anyone who administers funding for water quality programs that is interested in understanding the benefits of street sweeping compared to other best management practices
