[[Friend/First name]], I’ve been a proud fighter for LGBTQ+ rights for decades now. And I will always stand up for everyone’s right to love who they love, to be who they are, and to live as their authentic selves, free from discrimination and harm.

In the last few years, I have taken legal action to stop discrimination against transgender students, won in court to prevent a wedding photographer from discriminating against LGBTQ+ couples, and advocates for stronger federal protections for LGTQ+ individuals in the workplace. 

These are just some of the fights I’ve taken on behalf of the LGBTQ+ community in my over five years as attorney general – but this work is far from over. And, with the increase in the GOP’s extremist anti-LGBTQ+ laws , we need to work harder than ever to protect our neighbors and loved ones.
