[1]Sarah McBride - Democrat for Congress
Friends,
We’re only 11 days into June and I’ve already been up and down the state
multiple times to attend some pretty great community events. So today I
wanted to share a few photos so you can see what I’ve been up to as well.

First up was a visit to Townsend. Southern New Castle County was looking
particularly beautiful in the Saturday morning sun as I joined Senators
Stephanie Hansen and Kyra Hoffner for the annual Town Parade and
Strawberry Festival!

Next up was Delaware Pride in Dover. I’ve gone to every Pride for years,
and this had to be the biggest one yet. We have so much more work to do,
but, together, we're proving that small states have big hearts.

The Greek Festival is always a treat as well! It was a pleasure meeting
the volunteers and greeting neighbors out for a great meal with State
Senator Spiros Mantzavinos and a Greek frappé in hand. 🇬🇷 🇬🇷 🇬🇷

After that it was on to Old New Castle where we celebrated one of my
personal favorite state holidays: Separation Day! It’s when Delaware
declared its independence from Great Britain and Pennsylvania.

I was also thrilled to support Democratic State House candidates at a
grassroots fundraiser in Sussex. We finally elected a Democrat in RD20
last year, and now it’s time to build on that momentum!

As part of the organizing class at my first job, I know that when unions
are strong, our economy is strong. That’s why I was so proud to join the
Delaware Building Trades once again to celebrate the 2024 apprentice
graduates! We’re indebted to all of their hard work building, securing,
and enhancing our state.

And last but certainly not least, I was honored to attend the Coalition of
Black Unionists Gala. It was a celebration of workers, solidarity, and the
vital role that Black trade unionists have played in building our nation's
unions and our economy.
It’s been a whirlwind start to this month, and we’re not slowing down any
time soon. There’s so much work left to do to meet, hear from, and turn
out voters all over Delaware — and I need your help to do it.

you pitch in $5 today to help me stay on the campaign trail
listening to voters and fighting for ALL of our neighbors in Delaware?
