Kentucky Eagle teams up with their state government to deliver essential sanitizing supplies
Tate Russell, the President of Kentucky Eagle, says she and other distribution companies have stepped forward to coordinate with their state government to use their delivery expertise to help get hand sanitizer and cleaner to critical locations. "We reached out to the state because we realized they likely needed to move a lot of product and easily and quickly," said Russell. Kentucky Emergency Management Director Michael Dossett says the help is much needed since the state does not have a trucking service that can hit the road at any time.
Brewery and beer distributor collaborate to release an IPA to raise funds for their community
In Massachusetts, Atlas Distributing and Wachusett Brewing Co. collaborated to create Glory American IPA. Proceeds from the beer sales will benefit local non-profits that are providing COVID-19 relief. "We could not be more grateful," President & CEO of United Way of Central Massachusetts Tim Garvin said. "Atlas and Wachusett both have a long history of philanthropy in Central Massachusetts and to do something like this during this crisis is incredible."
